Pierce Butler 
Pierce was born about 1555 in Slane, Meath, Ireland. Pierce's father was Thomas Butler and his mother was Helen Barry. His paternal grandparents were James Butler and Joan Fitzgerald. He had a brother named Thomas. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James and Elizabeth. He died in 1601.General Notes
