Henry Ashbaugh

Henry was born about 1810 in Hagerstown, MD and his baptism took place in German Reformed Congregation Church. Henry's father was David Ashbaugh and his mother was Catherine Shoptaugh. His paternal grandparents were Frederick* Ashbaugh and Sophia* Sells. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Frederick, John, Christopher Columbus, James Christopher, William, Artemesia and Sophia. He is the second youngest of the eight children.
