Artemesia Ashbaugh

Artemesia was born about 1797 in Hagerstown, MD. Artemesia's father was David Ashbaugh and her mother was Catherine Shoptaugh. Her paternal grandparents were Frederick* Ashbaugh and Sophia* Sells. She had six brothers and a sister, named Frederick, John, Christopher Columbus, James Christopher, Henry, William and Sophia. She is the third oldest of the eight children.
