Eleanor Hadley

Eleanor was born on January 25th, 1815 in Chatham County, North Carolina.¹ Eleanor's father was Jacob Hadley and her mother was Ruth Hadley. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Hadley and Mary Cashat; her maternal grandparents were Simon Hadley and Elizabeth Thompson. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named Simon, Jonathan, Infant, Abel, Infant, Elias, William, Thomas, Mary, Elizabeth, Rachel, Eunice and Susanna. She was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 64 on February 4th, 1879 in Praire Center, Kansas.¹
