Catharine was born on September 24th, 1752 in Cane Creek,Orange,North Carolina.1 Catharine's father was Joshua Hadley and her mother was Patience Brown. Her paternal grandparents were Simon Hadley II and Ruth Keran Miller; her maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Browne and Mary Riall Royale. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Jeremiah (Joshua), Joshua, Joseph, Simon, Mary, Ruth, Deborah, Lydia and Hannah. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Thomas, Ruth and Sarah. She died at the age of 67 on November 8th, 1819 in Spring,Orange,Nc. She was buried in 1819 in Spring Meet.
