Sarah was born on August 16th, 1730 in New Castle County, Delaware.1 Sarah's father was Joshua Hadley and her mother was Mary Rowland. Her paternal grandparents were Simon Hadley II and Ruth Keran Miller. She had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Ruth. She had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Thomas, Jeremiah (Joshua), Joshua, Joseph, Simon, Mary, Ruth, Deborah, Catharine, Lydia and Hannah.1 -
