Luther Haymond was born on February 7th, 1869 in West Virginia.1 Luther Haymond's father was Morgan Gibson and his mother was Elizabeth A. Given. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Gibson and Eva Lough; his maternal grandparents were Robert Given and Jane. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Arthur, Millard Fillmore, Phoebe, Rebecca Jane, Ruanna, Viola Victoria and Eva M.. He was the second youngest of the eight children.1 -
