Lydia Sinks 
Lydia was born about 1773 in Hampshire County, Virginia. Lydia's father was Jacob Sinks. She was an only child. She died on March 14th, 1857 in Clay County, Illinois. She was buried in Wesley Cemetery, Passport, Pixley Township, Richland County, Illinois.
Lydia and Nicholas were married in a religious ceremony in 1795 in Virginia. They had six sons and five daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named James W., Jacob, John W., George, Robert, William, Prudence, Elizabeth, Temperance, Martha Ann, Mary and Frances.
