Prudence Gibson 
Prudence was born on April 17th, 1800 in Braxton County, West Virginia.1 Prudence's father was Nicholas Gibson and her mother was Lydia Sinks. Her paternal grandparents were John Gibson Col. and Anna Shickellamy; her maternal grandfather was Jacob Sinks. She had six brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named James W., Jacob, John W., George, Robert, William, Elizabeth, Temperance, Martha Ann, Mary and Frances. She died at the age of 83 on September 2nd, 1883 in Richland County, Illinois.1 -
