Waleran Lord De was born in 1104 in Beaumont, Normandy, France and his baptism took place in Also Of, , , England.1   Waleran Lord De's mother was Lady Isabel Elizabeth De Vermandois Lady.  His maternal grandparents were The Great Capet, Count Of Vermandois Hugh and Adelaide Countess Of Vermandois. He had nine brothers and seventeen sisters, named Robert "The Just" De, Hugh De, Henry, Ralph De, William De, Reginald De, Reginald, Waleran Earl of Worcester, Druex, Isabel (Elizabeth) De, Adeline De, Emma de, Mabel de, Alice, Amicade De, Maud of Meulan de, Gundred de, Ella De, Gundred, Adeline Ada, Ada, Countess de, Elizabeth, Adeline, Aubere, Wevia and Maude.  He was the sixth oldest of the twenty-seven children.  He died at the age of 77 on April 10th, 1181 in Abbey, Preaux, Normandy, France.  He was buried in Abbey, Preaux, Normandy, France.2
