Alice was born in 1105 in Hinckley, Leicestershire, England.1   Alice's mother was Lady Isabel Elizabeth De Vermandois Lady.  Her maternal grandparents were The Great Capet, Count Of Vermandois Hugh and Adelaide Countess Of Vermandois. She had ten brothers and sixteen sisters, named Robert "The Just" De, Waleran Lord De, Hugh De, Henry, Ralph De, William De, Reginald De, Reginald, Waleran Earl of Worcester, Druex, Isabel (Elizabeth) De, Adeline De, Emma de, Mabel de, Amicade De, Maud of Meulan de, Gundred de, Ella De, Gundred, Adeline Ada, Ada, Countess de, Elizabeth, Adeline, Aubere, Wevia and Maude.  She was the seventh oldest of the twenty-seven children.  She died at the age of 86 on July 11th, 1191 in Rheims, Marne, Loire-Atlantique, France.  She was buried in St. Ebruf, Utica.
