Soloman Barnes 
Soloman was born in 1752 in Orange, North Carolina.1 Soloman's father was Brinsley Barnes and his mother was Elizabeth Lindley. His paternal grandparents were William Barnes and Elizabeth Key; his maternal grandparents were James William Lindley and Eleanor Parke. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Zeke, James, John, Brinsley II, Ezekiel, Jehue, Reubin, Mary, Lydia and Ann. He died at the age of 55 on February 9th, 1807 in Wilkes Co., North Carolina. He was buried in Wilkes. North Carolina.1 2 General Notes
