John Barnes 
John was born on July 1st, 1741 in Chester Co, Pa. John's father was Brinsley Barnes and his mother was Elizabeth Lindley. His paternal grandparents were William Barnes and Elizabeth Key; his maternal grandparents were James William Lindley and Eleanor Parke. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Zeke, James, Brinsley II, Ezekiel, Jehue, Soloman, Reubin, Mary, Lydia and Ann. He died at the age of 80 on February 1st, 1822 in Willkes Co.
