Reubin Barnes 
Reubin was born in 1756 in Orange, North Carolina.1 Reubin's father was Brinsley Barnes and his mother was Elizabeth Lindley. His paternal grandparents were William Barnes and Elizabeth Key; his maternal grandparents were James William Lindley and Eleanor Parke. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Zeke, James, John, Brinsley II, Ezekiel, Jehue, Soloman, Mary, Lydia and Ann. He died at the age of 43 in 1799 in Wilkes, North Carolina.1 General Notes
