Nathan Ayres 
Nathan was born on December 19th, 1776.1 Nathan's father was Nathan Ayres Col. and his mother was Mary Christian Leake. His paternal grandparents were Matthias Ayres and Elizabeth Hales; his maternal grandparents were Walter Leake , Jr. and Judith Mask. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John (Parson Jack), Samuel, Walter Leake, Matthias, Peter Leake, Judith, Elizabeth (Betsy) Hales, Mary Agnes (Polly), Jane (Jean) and Martha (Patsy). He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 44 on April 19th, 1821 in Buckingham, Virginia.1 -
