Martha (Patsy) Ayres 
Martha (Patsy) was born on August 11th, 1793 in Buckingham County, Virginia.1 Martha (Patsy)'s father was Nathan Ayres Col. and her mother was Mary Christian Leake. Her paternal grandparents were Matthias Ayres and Elizabeth Hales; her maternal grandparents were Walter Leake , Jr. and Judith Mask. She had six brothers and four sisters, named John (Parson Jack), Samuel, Nathan, Walter Leake, Matthias, Peter Leake, Judith, Elizabeth (Betsy) Hales, Mary Agnes (Polly) and Jane (Jean). She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 43 on February 24th, 1837 in Buckingham, Virginia.1 -
