Pearl Hazel Wikes 
Pearl Hazel was born on November 20th, 1907 in McNairy Co., Tennessee.1 Pearl Hazel's father was George Washington Wilkes and her mother was Emma Ander Perkins. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Wilkes and Mary Ann (Polly) Basham. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Carl Clyde, Oscar Carl, Lacy Frank, Earnest Eugene, John Dewitt Talmage, Dora Hester and Mary. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died in Memphis, Tennessee.1 General Notes
