Mary Ann (Polly) was born on May 6th, 1822 in Morgan Co., Alabama.1 Mary Ann (Polly)'s father was Jonathan Basham and her mother was Elizabeth Hogan. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James Hogan, Richard H., William Farmer, Harry Reed (Harvey), Anderson, George Washington, Jane, Tyressa, Catherine Rosena and Margaret. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 84 on February 9th, 1907 in Prob. Limestone Co., Texas.1 General Notes
