William Farmer Basham 
William Farmer was born on May 6th, 1822 in Morgan Co., Alabama.1 William Farmer's father was Jonathan Basham and his mother was Elizabeth Hogan. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James Hogan, Richard H., Harry Reed (Harvey), Anderson, George Washington, Jane, Tyressa, Catherine Rosena, Mary Ann (Polly) and Margaret. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 45 on June 7th, 1867 in Monroe Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
