Ruby Lillian was born on August 25th, 1896.1 Ruby Lillian's father was William Arthur Underwood and her mother was Ida Elnora McBrayer. Her paternal grandparents were George Terrell Underwood and Sarah Ellen Kee. She had two brothers and nine sisters, named William Harrison, Ramah Springs, Myrtle Ardella, Jodie McCoy, Lillie Ruth, Ada Irene, Bessie Lee, Jessie Mae, Terrell Juanita, Sephronia Ellen and Katharine Gresham. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 76 on August 26th, 1972.1 General Notes
