Lillie Ruth Underwood 
Lillie Ruth was born on August 25th, 1896.1 Lillie Ruth's father was William Arthur Underwood and her mother was Ida Elnora McBrayer. Her paternal grandparents were George Terrell Underwood and Sarah Ellen Kee. She had two brothers and nine sisters, named William Harrison, Ramah Springs, Myrtle Ardella, Jodie McCoy, Ruby Lillian, Ada Irene, Bessie Lee, Jessie Mae, Terrell Juanita, Sephronia Ellen and Katharine Gresham. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 55 on December 22nd, 1951.1 General Notes
