Bessie Lee Underwood 
Bessie Lee was born on June 25th, 1903.1 Bessie Lee's father was William Arthur Underwood and her mother was Ida Elnora McBrayer. Her paternal grandparents were George Terrell Underwood and Sarah Ellen Kee. She had two brothers and nine sisters, named William Harrison, Ramah Springs, Myrtle Ardella, Jodie McCoy, Lillie Ruth, Ruby Lillian, Ada Irene, Jessie Mae, Terrell Juanita, Sephronia Ellen and Katharine Gresham. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 94 on May 5th, 1998.1 General Notes
