Marvin Skaggs 
Marvin was born on May 2nd, 1905 in Kentucky.1 Marvin's father was Lewis Young Skaggs and his mother was Mary Susan Thompson. His paternal grandparents were Henry David Skaggs and Ruth S. Salsman; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Jonathan Thompson and Mary Ann Warren. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Robert, Edward McClain, James Mace, George Albert, Marcus, Florence, Darcus Ann and Flocia Carrie. He died at the age of 66 on May 13th, 1971. He was buried in DeSpain- Thompson Cemetery, Near Pleasant Ridge Church, LaRue/Green County line..1 1 General Notes
