Stephen Skaggs 
Stephen was born in 1785 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Stephen's father was Henry Skaggs and his mother is Mary Thompson. His paternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Unknown. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John Thompson, James, Solomon, David, Sarah, Lucy, Nancy, Sylvia, Mary and Rachael. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 74 on October 27th, 1859 in Green Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Corinth Baptist Cemetery, LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
