Ruell Shofner 
Ruell's father was Chester Young Shofner and his mother was Amy Frances DeSpain. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson Shofner and Louisa Catherine Skaggs; his maternal grandparents were Richard Marshall DeSpain and Ida Frances Skaggs.
