Living Shofner 
Living's father was Chester Young Shofner and his mother was Amy Frances DeSpain. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson Shofner and Louisa Catherine Skaggs; his maternal grandparents were Richard Marshall DeSpain and Ida Frances Skaggs. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Gaines Mickie, Living, Ruell, Fay, Garnette, Living and Ronnie.-
