Orville Gillette Shannon 
Orville Gillette was born on February 6th, 1894 in Richland Co., Wisconsin.1 Orville Gillette's father was William Alexander Shannon and his mother is Alice Agnes Markley. His paternal grandfather is Warner Shannon and his paternal grandmother was Nancy Ellen Endicott. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Alvin Earnest, Eldon Emmer, Della Myrtle, Joyce Agnes, Merle Claire and Alice Marie. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Rollie Robert, Willie Warner, Raymond LaVerne, Byron Wilford, Myron Milford, Sarah Ellen, Ruby Pearl, Tessie Isolene and Florence Dorothy. He died at the age of 70 on January 28th, 1965 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., Wisconsin.1 General Notes
