Joyce Agnes was born on March 14th, 1895 in Richland Co., Wisconsin.1 Joyce Agnes' father was William Alexander Shannon and her mother is Alice Agnes Markley. Her paternal grandfather is Warner Shannon and her paternal grandmother was Nancy Ellen Endicott. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Orville Gillette, Alvin Earnest, Eldon Emmer, Della Myrtle, Merle Claire and Alice Marie. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Rollie Robert, Willie Warner, Raymond LaVerne, Byron Wilford, Myron Milford, Sarah Ellen, Ruby Pearl, Tessie Isolene and Florence Dorothy. She died at the age of 80 on December 17th, 1975 in Ladysmith, Rusk Co., Wisconsin. She was buried in Riverview Cemetery, Rusk Co., Wisconsin.1 1 General Notes
