William Butler Senter 
William Butler was born on October 4th, 1812 in Greene Co., Tennessee.1 William Butler's father was William Senter and his mother was Jency Ann Butler. His paternal grandparents were Henry Senter and Rebecca Avent. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James C., Delaney, Moses Easter, Patrick Henry, Alvin A., Rebecca, Mary Polly, Morning, Susanah Matilda and Elizabeth Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 71 on November 29th, 1883 in Alvarado, Johnson Co., Texas.1 General Notes
