Delaney Senter

Delaney was born in 1815 in Greene Co., Tennessee.¹ Delaney's father was William Senter and his mother was Jency Ann Butler. His paternal grandparents were Henry Senter and Rebecca Avent. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James C., William Butler, Moses Easter, Patrick Henry, Alvin A., Rebecca, Mary Polly, Morning, Susanah Matilda and Elizabeth Jane. He is the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
