Delitha Sams 
Delitha was born on January 22nd, 1801 in Buncombe Co., North Carolina.1 Delitha's father was John Warren Sams and her mother is Agnes Blackwell. Her paternal grandfather was James Sams and her paternal grandmother is Mary Agnes Warren. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James B., Warren, Gabriel C., John Price, William H., Larkin, Mary Polly, Orra, Miranda and Cloa Judith. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 94 on December 11th, 1895 in Madison Co., North Carolina.1 General Notes
