Orra Sams 
Orra was born on October 28th, 1804 in Buncombe Co., North Carolina.1 Orra's father was John Warren Sams and her mother is Agnes Blackwell. Her paternal grandfather was James Sams and her paternal grandmother is Mary Agnes Warren. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James B., Warren, Gabriel C., John Price, William H., Larkin, Mary Polly, Delitha, Miranda and Cloa Judith. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 83 on October 25th, 1888 in Buncombe Co., North Carolina.1 General Notes
