Larkin Sams

Larkin was born in 1815 in Buncombe Co., North Carolina.¹ Larkin's father was John Warren Sams and his mother is Agnes Blackwell. His paternal grandfather was James Sams and his paternal grandmother is Mary Agnes Warren. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James B., Warren, Gabriel C., John Price, William H., Mary Polly, Delitha, Orra, Miranda and Cloa Judith. He is the second youngest of the eleven children.
