John Warren Sams 
John Warren was born in 1774 in Henry Co., Virginia.1 John Warren's father was James Sams and his mother is Mary Agnes Warren. His maternal grandparents were Hackley Warren and Sarah Shipp. He had five brothers named Warren, James,Jr., Lot Lancelot, Reuben and William Hackley. He was the second oldest of the six children.
