Ruthenia Ritchie 
Ruthenia was born on October 2nd, 1895 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Ruthenia's father was Thomas Ritchie and her mother was Matilda Ritchie. Her paternal grandfather was Benjamin Ritchie and her paternal grandmother is Rose Ann Combs; her maternal grandparents were William Ritchie and Rebecca Smith. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Clerinda, Alexander, Fielding, Benjamin, Elmira and Loutisha. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 83 on October 25th, 1978 in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was buried in Stamper Cemetery, Pikesville, Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
