Benjamin Ritchie 
Benjamin was born in 1904 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Benjamin's father was Thomas Ritchie and his mother was Matilda Ritchie. His paternal grandfather was Benjamin Ritchie and his paternal grandmother is Rose Ann Combs; his maternal grandparents were William Ritchie and Rebecca Smith. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Clerinda, Alexander, Fielding, Ruthenia, Elmira and Loutisha. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 49 in 1953.1 General Notes
