Alexander Ritchie 
Alexander was born on November 23rd, 1891 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Alexander's father was Thomas Ritchie and his mother was Matilda Ritchie. His paternal grandfather was Benjamin Ritchie and his paternal grandmother is Rose Ann Combs; his maternal grandparents were William Ritchie and Rebecca Smith. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Clerinda, Fielding, Benjamin, Ruthenia, Elmira and Loutisha. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 85 in 1976.1 General Notes
