Nella Cordalane Preston 
Nella Cordalane was born on January 25th, 1886 in Doniphan, Missouri.1 Nella Cordalane's father was Pendelton Douglas 'PD' Preston and her mother was Sara Ellen Goodwin. Her paternal grandparents were Booker Preston and Louisa Asbury. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Cecil Pendleton, Victor Eugene, Elsa A. and Sarah Louise. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William Melvin, Carson, Carl R., Raleigh, Edith Evelyn, Bertha, Gladys and Mary Frances. She died at the age of 63 on July 7th, 1949 in Decatur, Macon Co., Illinois. She was buried on July 11th, 1949 in Kellar Cem., Lovington, Moultrie Co., Illinois.1 1 General Notes
