Cecil Pendleton was born on February 10th, 1888 in Allenville, Moultrie Co., Illinois.1 Cecil Pendleton's father was Pendelton Douglas 'PD' Preston and his mother was Sara Ellen Goodwin. His paternal grandparents were Booker Preston and Louisa Asbury. He had a brother and three sisters, named Victor Eugene, Nella Cordalane, Elsa A. and Sarah Louise. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William Melvin, Carson, Carl R., Raleigh, Edith Evelyn, Bertha, Gladys and Mary Frances. He died at the age of 44 on November 21st, 1932 in Lovington, Moultrie Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
