Booker Preston

Booker was born on May 26th, 1809 in Virginia.¹   Booker's father was Moses Preston and his mother was Agathy Simmons. He had two brothers named Lorenzo G. and Mellon.  He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named David, Jubal and Mahala.  He died at the age of 76 on January 9th, 1886 in Moultrie Co., Illinois.  He was buried in Greenhill Cem. in Sullivan, Illinois.^1 1 

‌Booker and Mary S. were married in a religious ceremony on April 21st, 1832 in Franklin Co., Virginia.¹   They had eight sons and two daughters, named Calvin Luther, George Elexander, Patrick Henry, John David, Albiam Alcey, William Morgan, Eugene P., Sempronius, Frances Jane and Alea Ann.

‌Booker and Louisa were married in a religious ceremony on December 1st, 1856 in Mead Co., Kentucky.¹   They had three sons and three daughters, named Olander Webb, Pendelton Douglas 'PD', Charles Edward, Ida Alice, Ora Belle and Catherine.
