Elizabeth McNutt 
Elizabeth was born on October 31st, 1819 in Maury Co., Tennessee.1 Elizabeth's father was Robert Blaine,Major McNutt and her mother was Mary Polly Jackson. Her paternal grandparents were William McNutt and Elizabeth Grigsby; her maternal grandparents are Brice Jackson and Elizabeth Unknown. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert Brice, John William, Unknown, John Hamilton Money, Nancy, Martha, Mary Elizabeth, Jane Catherine and Tabitha Tennessee. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 29 on January 25th, 1849 in Austin Co./ Texas.1 General Notes

MCNUTT, ELIZABETH (177?-?). Elizabeth McNutt, one of Stephen F. Austin
's qv Old Three Hundredqv colonists, received title to one sitio
qv of la nd in what is now Jackson County on July 21, 1824. The cens
us of 1826 list ed her as a widow, aged over fifty. She had two sons and f
ive daughters a nd owned fifteen slaves. Noah Smithwickqv listed her as o
ne of his patro ns from Fort Bend County.
