George Colbert McCoy

George Colbert was born on September 8th, 1919.¹ George Colbert's father is John Herschel McCoy and his mother is Cecelia Burris. His paternal grandparents were George Washington McCoy and Margaret Keahey. He had a brother and three sisters, named John Hershel,Jr., Marguerite Cecilia, Katherine Lanell and Laura Ann. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 24 in June 1944.¹
