Lavinia McCorcle 
Lavinia was born in 1882 in Sugar Loaf, Coryell Co., Texas.1 Lavinia's father was Whipple Wesson, Dr. McCorcle and her mother was Cornelia Mildred Craig. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald T. McCorcle and Carolina Eliza Matilda Cook Allen. She had four brothers and a sister, named Denny Jenks, Port Ellis, Michael, Gideon and Hester Jennette. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jerico, Gideon and Mary Elizabeth. She died at the age of 74 in 1956 in Killeen, Bell Co., Texas. She was buried in Killeen, Bell Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
