Denny Jenks was born on July 12th, 1873 in Sugar Loaf, Coryell, TX.1 Denny Jenks' father was Whipple Wesson, Dr. McCorcle and his mother was Cornelia Mildred Craig. His paternal grandparents were Archibald T. McCorcle and Carolina Eliza Matilda Cook Allen. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Port Ellis, Michael, Gideon, Lavinia and Hester Jennette. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jerico, Gideon and Mary Elizabeth. He died at the age of 94 on January 2nd, 1968 in Plainview, Hale, TX. He was buried in Frederick, Tillman Co., Oklahoma.1 1 General Notes
