Frederick Martin Knott 
Frederick Martin was born on November 29th, 1854 in Raymond, Meade Co., Kentucky.1 Frederick Martin's father was Raphael (Ralph) Knott and his mother was Abigail Basham. His maternal grandparents were Frederick Basham and Abigail NORTON. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Scott, George W., Jesse Taylor, Frank, Mary Elizabeth, Susan McDellan, Lucinda C. and Leona Weldon. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 on August 30th, 1930 in Brown's Valley, Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
