George Leroy Keahey 
George Leroy was born on April 30th, 1906.1 George Leroy's father was George Preston Keahey and his mother was Leona Melvina Guinn. His paternal grandparents were Preston Gustavius Keahey and Amanda Cox. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Fred Howard, John Jackson, William Pleasant, Abe Kline, Homer Earl, Albert Elihu, Ruthie Belle and Blanche. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 2 on November 13th, 1908. He was buried in Old Souenlovie Cemetery, Clarke County, Mississippi.1 1 General Notes
