William Riley was born on April 26th, 1866 in Angelina Co., Texas.1 William Riley's father was Andrew Jackson Jones and his mother was Elizabeth Adelia Swan. His paternal grandfather is James Jones; his maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Swan and Mary (Polly) Basham. He had three brothers and a sister, named Daniel Jackson, Calvin J., George Parks and Elizabeth Adelia. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 53 on October 18th, 1919.
