Sarah Basham Estate State of Alabama Probate Court of Morgan County
February term 1851 being the 10th day of said month.
A F BASHAM, Administrator of the estate of SARAH BASHAM late of said c
ou nty died, having heretofore to wit on the 31st day of December 1850 f
il ed his account and vouchers with the judge of said court for final sett
lem ent with said decedent's estate and it appearing to the satisfacti
on of co urt that legal notice has been given for three consecutive wee
ks in the Mo rgan Advertiser, a newspaper printed in the town of Decatu
r, Alabama for a ll persons interested in said settlement to be and appe
ar at the Court Hou se in the town of Somerville at a probate court there
of to be held on th is day and show cause if any they have or can why sett
lement as aforesa id should not be made and no objection being made to t
he same or any pa rt thereof the court proceeded to a consideration of sa
id account and it a ppearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the sa
id A F BASHAM, admini strator aforesaid is chargeable with the sum of t
wo hundred and forty sev en dollars and eight cents and entitled to credi
ts to the amount of one hu ndred dollars and eight cents and entitled to c
redits to the amount of o ne hundred and eight dollars and forty six cen
ts leaving a balance due fr om the said administrator to said estate and t
he judge of said court one h undred and thirty eight dollars and sixty t
wo cents, to be distribut ed in manner and form following to wit:
It is ordered adjudged and decreed by the court that Tom Price proba
te ju dge of said court recover of A F BASHAM, administrator of the esta
te of SA RAH BASHAM the sum of thirty six dollars and for which executi
on may issu e.  It is further ordered adjudged and decreed by the court th
at JAMES BAS HAM recover of the said A F BASHAM administrator aforesaid t
he sum of fi ve dollars and twenty seven cents being his portion of the pe
rsonal proper ty of said decedent after paying the debts of said estate a
nd for which ex ecution may issue.
It is further ordered adjudged and decreed by the court that HARVEY R B
AS HAM recover of the said A F BASHAM administrator aforesaid the sum of t
wen ty eight dollars and 67 1/2 cents his distributive share of said esta
te a nd for which execution may issue.  It is further ordered adjudged a
nd dec reed by the court that JEREMIAH BASHAM in right of his wife ____
__ for t he use of his wife _______ recover of A F BASHAM administrator af
oresaid t he sum of twenty eight dollars and sixty seven cents her distrib
utive sha re of said estate and for which execution may issue.
It is further ordered adjudged and decreed by the court that JOHN BLA
NT ON in right of his wife ______ recover of the said A F BASHAM administr
at or aforesaid the sum of twenty eight dollars and sixty seven cents h
er dis tributive share of said estate and for which execution may issue.
It is further ordered adjudged and decreed by the court that t
he sa id A F BASHAM retain in his hands as one of the heirs of said decede
nt t he sum of twenty eight dollars and sixty cents his distributive sha
re of s aid estate.
