Oran Dan Jones 
Oran Dan was born on April 28th, 1895 in Breckenridge, Texas.1 Oran Dan's father was William Riley Jones and his mother was Rebecca Heatley. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Jones and Elizabeth Adelia Swan. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Elmer George, Emmitt Hartford, Andrew Jackson, Victor Roland, Josephine Irene, Willie Ruth, Muriel Lee, Meda Mae and Vallie Christine. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 73 on November 2nd, 1968. He was buried in Raymondville, Texas.1 1 General Notes
