Adelia Hicks 
Adelia was born on May 12th, 1904 in Kentucky.1 Adelia's father was James L. Hicks and her mother was Charity Marguerite Basham. Her paternal grandparents are Daniel A., Jr. Hicks and Mary Ann Liesure; her maternal grandparents were Eli Houston Basham and Nancy Melvina Fitzeleanor McCoy. She has a brother and seven sisters, named Ira Lee, Viona, Ida Belle, Mattie Bell, Mirtie E., Dora, Dena and Provie. She is the youngest of the nine children.General Notes
